Our fabric is handwoven exclusively for this collection out of 100% Tanzanian cotton by skilled artisans in Dar es Salaam, a vibrant bay along Tanzania's Swahili Coast.

Strands of yarn are first hand-dyed with strategically placed color, then dried in the hot sun. The colorful yarn is then woven on traditional handlooms where the space dye patterns are stunningly revealed, one thread at a time.

This time-honored craft of handlooming is what makes our fabrics so extraordinarily soft.
